Could there be a new conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan? | Conflict

Video Duration 24 minutes 10 seconds

Armenia and Azerbaijan are faulting each other for reestablished battling close to the contested locale of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The region is perceived as a feature of Azerbaijan, yet is generally constrained by ethnic Armenians.

Two Karabakh troops and an Azerbaijani trooper were killed in an area under the oversight of Russian peacekeepers.

The most recent brutality set off calls for quiet from Russia, NATO, and the European Union.

Both sides blame each other for breaking the 2020 ceasefire.

So might the détente at any point hold and forestall another conflict?
