Geragos said the one count Velasquez is confronting that could get him life in jail is endeavored murder and Goularte is the supposed casualty of said charge.

Goularte was set free from guardianship Feb. 25 without bail in the wake of being captured on a charge of licentious or scurrilous follow up on a kid under the time of 14.

“They’re attempting to frantically take off from the way that the framework bombed Cain,” Geragos said. “They would rather not get into that. They need to attempt a case that is separated from reality.”

Geragos added that he finds it a contention that a similar office is attempting both Velasquez and Goularte in their particular cases, saying that it is serving “two masters.”

Velasquez followed Goularte’s truck in his own vehicle on an “11-mile, rapid pursuit” through the city of San Jose, slammed the truck and discharged a 40-type handgun on various occasions into the truck, which conveyed Goularte, Bender and Goularte’s mom, Patricia, as per the DA’s office.
